Weather Forecast in Outlook 13
Posted by officesmart
Every day we check out our Calendar in Outlook in order to check out what appointments are scheduled for the current day or for the next few days. Okey, then what?
What’s the weather going to be like? Rainy or shiny? Cloudy or Misty? Warm or Cold?
Is it going to affect our plans?
That’s where Outlook 13 comes in. No more widgets, gadgets or whatever else everyone names them. Outlook 13 is the answer. Do you want to know what is the weather going to be like tomorrow? Just open your Calendar in Outlook 13.
In order to activate the Weather in Outlook 13, we must select the File tab in order to go to backstage view and from the drop down menu that appears we select the category Options from the right as shown in the image below.
The Outlook Options window appears where we select the category Calendar from the left as we can see below. Once the Calendar category is selected, we scroll down in the window until we locate the Weather area. Once the area is located we just activate the check box next to the command Show Weather On The Calendar. We can also choose whether the temperature will be shown in Celsius or Fahrenheit by activating the corresponding command. We then press the OK button in order to return to Outlook.
From now on, when we select to view our Calendar in Outlook 13, on top of the Calendar the Weather Forecast will appear on top of it, predicting the weather for the next three days as shown in the image below.
Below you can check out the video showing you how to acitvate the Weather function in Outlook 13.
