Posted by Smart Office - philippospan
Do you want to make your presentation a little bit spicier? Do you want to add some music in it, so you can get the “audiences” attention? Well now, with PowerPoint 13 the procedure of inserting audio in your presentation is very simple!!!
First of all you must select the tab Insert and from the area of the ribbon named Media which is located at the right we select the command Audio as shown in the image below.
The drop down menu appears with the available commands:
Audio on My PC
Let’s see this commands one by one. In the image below I have selected the command Online Audio as we can see the below.
The Office.com Clip Art window appears where we just type in the keyword (audio sound) in the search panel area and press the Search button, and straight away the available sounds appear as we can see below. We just select the one that we want, press the Insert button and the particular Audio starts to download and gets inserted in our Presentation.
In the image below I have selected the command Audio On My PC as we can see and straight away the Insert Audio dialog box appears, where we navigate in order to locate the audio that we want to insert in our presentation and then select the Insert button. The audio is inserted immediately in our presentation.
In the image below I have selected the Record Audio command, and once selected the Record Sound dialog box appears, where we can Record Audio by selecting the appropriate buttons. Once finished recording we press the OK button and the audio is inserted in our Presentation.
Whatever Audio we have chosen to insert in our Presentation, once the audio is selected as shown below, the Audio Tools appears which is divided into two tabs the Format tab and the Playback tab as we can see below. The Playback tab I will describe its functions in my next post.
