Reset Command in PowerPoint 13
Have you ever formatted placeholders in PowerPoint, such as the Font of it? Have you ever resized the placeholders and moved them around in your slide and at the end you were not happy with the result? You couldn’t use the Undo feature because it was not the last thing that you did in your Presentation? Not to worry, the Reset feature is available. What does this feature do? It resets the formatting, the size and the position that we have applied to the placeholders to their default settings in our Presentation. Below I will describe this feature, which only takes a couple of steps.
We apply the formatting that we want to the placeholders, we change the position and the size of them as we can see in the image below.
Then if we are not happy with the formatting, the positioning and the size that we have applied to the placeholders all we have to do is to select the Home tab and then from the area of the ribbon named Slides we just press the Reset button as shown in the image below.
That is it, the formatting of the Font has returned to its original defaults and the same stands for the size and the position of the placeholders as shown in the image below. The Reset feature is quite helpful, because with one click we restore the placeholder to its defaults. There is no need to select the placeholder, all we need to do is to select the Slide that we want to restore the placeholders to its defaults.
That is it!!! All the placeholders are back in the original defaults. Below you can also check out the video on how to use the Reset command in PowerPoint 13.
