Reset Picture & Size In PowerPoint 13

What happens when we have inserted an image in PowerPoint and we have formatted it and changed the size of it and then we realize that the changes that we have made are not what we wanted? What do we do? Press the Undo button until the image is restored?

Of course not. This is where the Reset Picture and Reset Picture & Size commands appear in PowerPoint 13.

The Reset Picture discards all the formatting that we have applied to an image and the Reset Picture & Size discards all the formatting and changes of the size of an image. In the post below I will describe these two commands. First of all we must select the image by just clicking on it.

Once the image is selected, the Picture Tools main tab gets activated and then we make sure the Format tab is activated as shown in the image below. Then we locate the Adjust area and select the arrow which is located at the right of the command Reset Picture as we can see below. Then from the drop down menu we select the command Reset Picture.

If we want to reset the picture in order to discard the formatting that we might have applied and the size that we might have changed, we select it first and then we select the Format tab and then from the area of the ribbon we select the arrow at the right of the command Reset Picture. Then from the drop down menu that appears we select the command Reset Picture & Size as shown below.
