Master Views In PowerPoint 13

In PowerPoint we have a few views available where we can modify our presentations. These Views modify different things that are in our presentation. Below I will describe briefly the Views that we have available in PowerPoint 13.

In order to check out the Views that are available in PowerPoint 13, is to select the View tab and then from the left area of the ribbon we locate the area named Master Views. In this area, we have available three different sort of views which are the following:

View - Master Views

Slide Master: Slide Master View, controls the look of our entire presentation, including colors, fonts, backgrounds, effects and almost everything. In this view we can insert an image in a slide master and it will appear on all our slides automatically.

Handout Master: In Handout Master View, we can customize how our presentation will look as a printed handout. We can choose the design and layout of the handout, such as the background, and where the headers and footers will appear. We also have page setup options where we can select.

Notes Master: In Notes Master View, we can customize how our presentation will look printed out with our notes. We can choose the design and layout of the notes page, such as background formatting and where the headers and footers will appear. We also have page setup options where we can select.

Each view will be described analytically in my future posts.

In the image below, I have selected the Slide Master View. Here we notice that a new tab has appeared named Slide Master offering us a variety of commands. In order to exit the Slide Master view, we press the Close Master View button, which is located at the right area of the ribbon.
