Slide Show Options in PowerPoint 13

In PowerPoint, we have a variety of options on how to set up and to play our Slide Show. For example, we set up our Slide Show to be presented by a speaker in full screen, or we can set up an unattended presentation that will be displayed at a kiosk. We can also set up the Slide Show to loop continuously until we press the Escape button on our keyboard and many other commands that we can use in order for our Slide Show to be presented.   All we have to do in order to set up our Slide Show is to follow the steps below:

We must select the Slide Show tab and then from the area of the ribbon named Start Slide Show we select the command Set Up Slide Show as shown in the image below.

Once the Set Up Slide Show command is selected the Set Up Show window appears as shown in the image below and which is separated in different areas with different commands which are the following described below. From this window, we can select or deselect the desired options that we want for our presentation.

Show Type: From this area we select the sort of Show Type we want to use for our Presentation.

  • Presented By A Speaker (Full Screen)
  • Browsed By An Individual (Window)
  • Browsed At A Kiosk (Full Screen)

Show Options: From this area, we can select if we want our presentation to loop, to be shown without narration or animation and we can also choose the color for our pen or laser pointer.

  • Show Without Narration
  • Show Without Animation
  • Disable Hardware Graphics Acceleration
  • Pen Color
  • Laser Pointer Color

Show Slides: From this area, we can customize which slides will be shown for our presentation.

  • Custom Show

Advance Slides: We can display our Slide Show manually or using timings if they are present.

  • Using Timings, If Present

Multiple Monitors: We can customize on which monitor our slide show will be presented, change the resolution if we want and to use Presenter View.

Whatever changes we do in the Set Up Show dialog box, at the end we just press the OK button in order for the adjustments to take place.
