Office Presentation Service in PowerPoint 13

As mentioned in my previous post, we can Present Online a PowerPoint 13 Presentation with the use of Microsoft Lync. In this post I will describe how we can Present Online a PowerPoint 13 Presentation with the use of the Office Presentation Service. The Office Presentation Service is a free, public service that allows others to see our slide show in a web browser. All we have to do is to follow the steps described below:

First, we must select the Slide Show tab and then from the area of the ribbon named Start Slide Show, we select the Present Online command. Once selected the drop down menu appears where we select the command Office Presentation Service.

Once the Office Presentation Service is selected, the Present Online dialog box appears which informs us with different information. One is that we can Enable Remote Viewers To Download The Presentation, command that we can activate if we want to. Then at the bottom, right corner of the dialog box, by clicking on the Connect button, means that we agree to the following terms: Service Agreement.

Then the Present Online dialog box, informs us that it is Connecting To Office Presentation Service, and we can see the percentage of the Preparation of the Online Presentation.

Once it has finished the preparation, we can Share This Link With Remote Viewers And Then Start The Presentation. We can either Copy Link, in order to share it with others when we are ready, or we can Send the Link in Email. If we select the second option, a new mail will appear with the link in the body of the message, and all we need to do is to invite the participants. All left, then is to select the button Start Presentation that is located at the bottom right corner of the Present Online dialog box.

That is it; the Presentation starts to begin as shown in the image below.

Once we present our Presentation Online a new tab appears in PowerPoint which is named Present Online as shown below with a variety of commands that we can use.

In order to stop the Presentation we just select the End Online Presentation button, or we press the Escape button on our keyboard.
