Save Slides Of Our Presentation As Images
We have a Presentation that is combined of different Slides, and we reach to the point, that we wonder if it is possible to save these Slides as images, in order to use them somehow differently. Is it possible to be done in PowerPoint? Yes, it is!!!. We can save our Slides in different sort of Image Formats, such as JPG, BMP, etc. Just continue reading this post and you will find out how can it be done.
As we can see in the image below, we have an open Presentation, which we want the Slides to be converted into images.
First of all we must select the File tab in order to move to Backstage View and from the left of the menu we select the command Save As, as we can see in the image below.
Once the command is selected the Save As dialog box appears as we can see below. First, we must navigate to the place that we want our files to be saved, then type in the name that we want for the files.
After we have done all the above, we select the drop down menu at the right of the command Save As Type, as we can see in the image below. Once selected the drop down menu appears with all the available types of formats that we can save our Presentation as. For this post, as mentioned we want to save the Slides of our Presentation as images. We can save our Slides as Images in the following available formats of images:
GIF Graphics Interchange (*.gif)
JPEG File Interchange Format (*.jpg)
PNG Portable Network Graphics Format (*.png)
TIFF Tag Image File Format (*.tif)
Device Independent Bitmap (*.bmp)
For this post, I have selected the JPG extension in order for the Slides to be saved as images as we can see in the image below.
Once I have selected the sort of Format I want for my Slides to be saved as, I just press the Save button which is located at the bottom right corner of the Save As Dialog box. Once select a Microsoft PowerPoint notification dialog appears which notifies us for the following:
Which Slides Do You Want To Export?
We can either select from one of the following:
All Slides: All Slides of the Presentation will be saved as images.
Just This One: Only the active Slide of the Presentation will be saved as an image.
Cancel: The procedure of saving the slides as Images will be cancelled.
For this post I have selected to Save All Slides as images and once again a Microsoft PowerPoint notification dialog box appears mentioning the following:
Each Slide In Your Presentation Has Been Saves As A Separate File In The Folder: …
That is it! All the Slides of our Presentation has been saved as images as we can see in the image below. The Presentation that I used was combined from four slides, and we can see in the image that four images were created.
Below you can check out the video describing how to Save Our Presentation As Images in PowerPoint 13.
