Header And Footer using Page Layout View

As mentioned in my previous post Header and Footer Dialog box Excel 13, I have defined what are Headers and Footers and how to create them using the dialog box in Excel 13. In this post, I will describe how to create Headers and Footers using the Page Layout View.

First of all we must select the View tab and then from the left area of the ribbon named Workbook Views, we select the command Page Layout View as shown in the image below.

Once the Page Layout View is selected we can see the Header on our Workbook Sheet. This area is separated in three different areas. The Left, the Center and the Right area. All we have to do is to click in the area that we want and type in the information needed.

In the image below, I have typed in the information needed in the Left, Center and Right area of the Header.

If we scroll down in our Workbook, we will be able to see the Footer area, which is also separated in three different parts, the Left, the Center and then Right, as same as the Header. Here we follow the same procedure as the Header, meaning that we just click in the area that we want and add in our information.
