Zoom Levels in Word 13

Many times, we find ourselves wanting to change the Zoom Level of our Word Document in order to edit it or to view it. In Word 13 we are offered many sorts of predefined Zoom Levels that we can use depending on what we want to do. All we have to do is to follow the steps below.

First, we must select the View tab and then locate the area of the ribbon named Zoom as shown in the image below. This area consists the following commands that will be described below:

View -  Zoom

First, we have the Zoom command as shown in the image below. Once the Zoom command is selected the Zoom dialog box appears where we can activate on of the following commands:

  • 200%
  • 100%
  • 75%
  • Percent: We define our own Zoom Level
  • Page Width
  • Text Width
  • Whole Page
  • Many Pages

In the image below from the View tab and under the area of the ribbon named Zoom, I have selected the 100% command, and straight away the Zoom Level of our document changes to 100%.

In the image below from the View tab and under the area of the ribbon named Zoom, I have selected the One Page command, and straight away the Zoom Level of our document is changed so we can see the entire page in the window.

In the image below from the View tab and under the area of the ribbon named Zoom, I have selected the Multiple Pages command, and straight away the Zoom Level of our document changes so we can see multiple pages in the window.

In the image below from the View tab and under the area of the ribbon named Zoom, I have selected the Page Width command, and straight away the Zoom Level of our document changes so that the width of our page matches the width of the window.

In order to change the Zoom Level of our document quickly we can also use the Zoom Slider which is located at the bottom right corner of Word as shown in the image below.
