Change Picture Command in PowerPoint 2016

Many times in a PowerPoint Presentation we have inserted a picture, which eventually we are not satisfied with it. What do we usually do to change it? We select it, delete, and insert a new one using the usual way. There is a command in PowerPoint though which allows us to quickly change the image in order to avoid the long procedure. All we have to do is to follow the steps described below.

The first way to select the Picture in the Slide that we want to change. Once selected we do a right click on the Picture and straight away the Shortcut Menu appears as shown in the image below. From this Shortcut Menu we select the command Change Picture.

The second way is to select the Picture again in our slide. Once selected the Format tab activates, where we must locate the area of the ribbon name Adjust. Once the Adjust area is located we once again select the command Change Picture as we can see in the image below.

Format - Adjust - Change Picture

Whatever way we use in order to Change the Picture in our slide, the Insert Pictures window appears where we have the following options in order to replace the Picture:

  • From A File: Once selected, we navigate on our computer in order to find another Picture.
  • Bing Image Search: Once selected, we use Bing Image Search in order to replace the Picture.
  • Facebook: Once selected, we can use images that we have stored in Facebook.
  • OneDrive – Personal: Once selected, we can use images that we have stored in OneDrive.

Insert Pictures

Once we have selected the new Picture and pressed the Insert button on the Insert window, the selected Picture in our Slide, will be replaced with the new one.

Below you can check out the video describing how to Change Picture in a PowerPoint Slide.
