How To Grab the Audience Attention Back During A Slide Show in PowerPoint?

When we are giving Presentations, sometimes we want the audience to focus on what we are saying or demonstrating, and we want to grab their attention. Or sometimes we are just having a break. We want to have breaks, between long Presentations but we don’t want to bore the audience and we don’t want them to get distracted. What is the best solution for us do? Sometimes it will be useful to be able to show a black screen or a white screen rather than a Presentation Slide. How can this be accomplished? Just continue reading the post below.

How To Grab Attention During A Presentation

In the next image, I have started the Slide Show of the Presentation. When I need to grab the audience attention back, all needed is to press the B letter on the keyboard.

In the image below, we can see that our screen has turned Black, just by pressing the letter B. If we need to return to our Slide Show, we just need to press the Esc button on our keyboard.

In the next image, I have started the Slide Show of the Presentation. When I need to grab the audience attention back, all needed to be done is to press the W letter on the keyboard.

In the image below, we can see that our screen has turned White, just by pressing the letter W. If we need to return to our Slide Show, we just need to press the Esc button on our keyboard.

Another way is, once we have started our Slide Show, is to do a right click on the Slide, and then from the shortcut menu that appears, we select the command Screen and then from the submenu we either select the command Black Screen or White Screen depending on what we want.
